Welcome!

When we say that we are a “Reformed” church we simply mean to say that we, as a church, subscribe to the doctrines, or teachings, of the Reformation and the following Puritan era of the 16th and 17th Century.

While these teachings are derived from Scripture and many of them were taught and believed (at least in seminal form) long before the Reformation, it was not until that time that many of them were brought together in a systematic cohesive manner and captured the hearts and minds of the church as a whole.

Among these truths would be the following:

  • We believe that the Bible teaches the absolute sovereignty of God in every aspect and detail of history, life and salvation.

  • We believe that the scriptures teach the “Doctrines of Grace” or what is commonly called Calvinism.

  • We believe in the five solas of the Reformation.

  • We believe in the biblical uses of the Law of God.

  • We believe that there is only one people of God.

  • We believe in the Regulative Principle of Worship.
